We got two of these costumes and paired them with some funky shades. The effect was a big hit and we had a super fun Halloween. It is a costume that makes everyone smile. I am a school teacher and used it at work as well. The parents were relieved that I wasn't scary or (sexy) and the kids laughed a lot.
One thing: the face hole doesn't stay snug around your face so I sewed a ribbon inside of the costume (under the chin) and tied it behind my neck.
One more thing: After a school party and then going out bar hopping all night, it was a bit frayed. I don't think its washable. So like most store-bought costumes I am not sure how many years you can get out of it. I guess you could mend it and let it air dry and do your best to take care of it, but...its not an "investment." But you probably shouldn't use banana costumes in your personal financial planning anyway.
